Project Manager, Astoria, NY - Working at a full-service General Contracting Mgmt firm, will oversee infrastructure projects in NYC involving the NYC Dept of Housing Preservation & Development, NYS Off of Mental Health, & other agencies. Responsible for managing, dvlpg, conducting all phases of projects for public & commercial bldg & infrastructure projects, & supervising other engineers/asst project mgrs in prep'g status/progress/technical reports for internal & external review. Oversee use of proper structural engg techniques & processes employed in dsgn & completion of bldg construction projects. Responsibilities incl: manage & perform inspection of construction bldg projects; review dvlpmt dsgn, permits, construction drawings, & traffic control plans to ensure compliance w/ local city codes, regs, ordinances, dsgn criteria, std engg specs, methods, & other plans; oversee & review dvlpmt agreements, dedications, & infrastructure blueprints; & manage engineers, architects, & planners to resolve dsgn rltd issues. Master's deg in Construction Mgmt/Engg or a directly rltd field or equiv, & 3 yrs exp in position offd or in Construction/Project Mgmt (incl. as Site Consultant); in lieu of Master's deg & 3 yrs exp, Bachelor's deg in Construction Mgmt/Engg or a directly rltd field or equiv, & 5 yrs exp in position offd or in Construction/Project Mgmt (incl. as Site Consultant).
