Registered HVAC and Refrigeration Technician

The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, Houston seeks a full-time, Registered HVAC and Refrigeration Technician who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all refrigerators and air conditioning equipment and units, including associated piping and insulation.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications:

• 2 years technical or trade school
• Minimum of 4 years air conditioning and refrigeration experience
• Texas Driver’s License
• Registered A/C & Refrigeration Technician
• HVAC & R Service Training Certification
• Refrigerant Recovery Usage Certification
• Boiler Operators Permit
• Be familiar with tools and methods of trade, including knowledge of safety codes and regulations
• Ability to plan and lay out work from blueprints, sketches or drawings
• Knowledge of energy management computer program preferred.
