Qualifications
- Five plus years’ experience in heavy construction equipment maintenance, repair and utilization.
- Thorough attention to detail.
- Knowledge and understanding of construction equipment asset management.
- Knowledge and understanding of equipment market and value of equipment for purposes of buy/sell analysis, rent vs. purchase, and sale of owned equipment at project closeout.
- Experience in equipment maintenance planning, tracking, and coordination.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work in high production environment and respond quickly/effectively under pressure in order to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Provide coordination of equipment maintenance and readiness to meet specific project and organizational needs.
- Coordinate the scheduling, maintenance, repair and utilization of equipment.
- Responsible for purchases, rentals and lease options of new and used equipment and vehicles.
- Conduct equipment purchase versus rent analysis.
- Responsible for the generation of project equipment rates and help determine equipment values.
- Coordinate the transportation and scheduling of equipment for domestic and international projects.
- Equipment reporting and tracking including utilization, hour meters, mileage and similar.
- Work order management.
- Invoice reconciliation.
- Responsible for the marketing of equipment and vehicles.
- Equipment insurance coordination and claims management & support.
- Responsible for licensing, permitting, registration and titling of all Equipment and vehicles.
- Work closely with field construction personnel (Superintendents, Project Managers and Project Engineers).
