Field Manager Job Summary 

• This is a full-time position and requires daily driving to various job sites,
  Company truck is provided as current jobsites cover six counties ; residence near San Jose (center of jobsite locations) is desirable
• This position is responsible for all Company field scheduling and staffing which includes GC and Specialty subcontracting of high-end finish carpentry work
• Senior level construction professional position requires superior skills and experience in this trade
• Ensure that all projects are completed on schedule and within budget while meeting standards of quality
• Recruit, train, manage and terminate all field crew members as needed (about 75 currently)
• Performs site visits regularly, ensuring that timetables are on schedule and all safety regulations are being followed
• Significant role with the Estimating and Business Development teams
• Serves as liaison between field crew and clients, project management, payroll and human resources

Competencies and Experience

• 10 years construction industry experience 
• Excellent organization, coordination and prioritization skills
• High end custom residential home building experience required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred
• Strong technology and administrative skills
• Experience and strong knowledge of jobsite safety including OSHA guidelines and reporting requirements and workers compensation claims management
• Experience and strong knowledge of hiring, management and termination processes and rules
