Sound verbal and written communication skills is required, along with, basic knowledge in sales and business principles.
RESPONSIBILITIES: • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships • Develop a robust product knowledge, along with the best practices for the use, installation, and promotional trends of products and services • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks • Be cognizant of competitors’ strengths and weaknesses • Cross sell services
DUTIES: • Follow up on leads • Make cold calls • Respond to all customer communications within 4 hours • Submit sales activity and results reports, such as daily call reports and weekly work plans • Communicate with customers throughout construction and after a project’s completion • Communicate with management regarding: customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services • Resolve a customer complaint by immediately investigating problem, developing a solution, and making recommendations to management • Coordinate sales effort with the other team members and departments; i.e. Office Manager, Production Manager, Project Manager
COMPENSATION: • Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 – plus commission • Company Vehicle • Health Insurance • Paid Vacation, Holidays and Sick Leave

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: • Experience in landscape management/construction or in related sales • Possess a strong desire to develop and maintain business relationships in order to increase business development • Good presentation skills (ability to sell) • Good oral and written communication skills • Ability to create and execute a daily plan of action to develop new business relationships and maintain existing ones • Strong work ethic • Competent in the use of computers and smart devices • Knowledgeable and capable with Microsoft Office products • Successfully pass background check and drug screening test
